Simon Langdon is an acknowledged authority on crisis management with experience of developing, implementing and exercising crisis management in large multi-site organisations. He has operational experience of counter- terrorism. He was awarded Business Continuity Consultant of the Year and has been chairman of the International Disaster and Emergency Resilience annual conferences (IDER) since 2006. Last year the IDER conference was held in Sweden and was hosted by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
Simon's experience of crisis management includes working with central and regional government and across a broad range of business sectors at a senior level including the financial services, retail, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, the media and the road, rail and aviation industries. He has conducted crisis management exercises and lectured on crisis management internationally in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East and within the Rail Industry, the Aviation Industry and the Financial Services.
